Dear Clients / Colleagues / Associates of RBG Lawyers
Today (19 February 2020) we have been made aware of a concerted phishing attack which was carried out late last night and impacted RBG Lawyers, among other organisations. From the information currently available to us, we do not believe that any sensitive client data has been compromised, however, we are aware that an email (or series of emails) was sent late yesterday evening (around 11:20 pm 18 February 2020) purporting to be from ‘Rheahn Bell’ of RBG Lawyers’ Offices via ‘IBM Aspera on Cloud’ with the subject line along the lines of ‘Secure Message – DC/CIV/PER/CIV/114/2020 – RBG Lawyers’.
This email has been generated and sent external to RBG Lawyers’ Mail Systems and is in no way affiliated with RBG Lawyers.
Under no circumstances should the email be opened or replied to, any links contained within the email clicked, or any login/username and password combinations provided if requested from the email or any websites directed to from the email itself.
If you did receive this email, please notify admin@rbglawyers.com.au (including the time it was received, and by whom it was received (if more than one individual within your organisation)), so that we can collate the necessary documentation to forward on to the relevant authorities as required.
